Frequently Asked Questions

INVESTMENT & COST STRUCTURES

Q: How do you structure your pricing? Is it a fixed fee or hourly?

A: We operate on a Value-Based Project Fee for custom builds. Because we conduct a rigorous Feasibility Audit before signing, we provide a concrete scope and a fixed project cost. You won't get hit with surprise "hourly overages" unless the scope changes significantly. For our SaaS platforms (like Property Pulse or Atlas), we offer transparent monthly or annual subscription tiers.

Q: If I pay for a "White Label" solution, is it cheaper than a Custom Build?

A: Yes, significantly. In a White-Label model, you are licensing our existing "Digital Factory" infrastructure rather than paying us to build a new one from scratch. You pay a Setup/Licensing Fee (for branding and deployment) and a recurring maintenance fee. This allows you to launch a world-class ERP in weeks, not months, at a fraction of the capital expenditure.

Q: How do you handle currency fluctuations in your contracts and software?

A: We understand the African economic context deeply.

  • For Contracts: We typically structure agreements to account for volatility.

  • For Software: We build "Currency Shields" directly into our ERPs. For example, our systems can store value in a base currency (like USD) and auto-convert transactions at the daily rate, protecting your business from exchange rate losses .

TECHNICAL & OPERATIONAL REALITY

Q: Why do you refuse to maintain "Legacy Code"?

A: Stability is our brand. Taking over software built by another developer often means inheriting hidden bugs, security holes, and poor architecture ("Technical Debt"). We cannot guarantee the "Cloud Manufacturing" standard of reliability if we are building on a cracked foundation. We build fresh to ensure your system is scalable and secure for the next decade.

Q: What happens to my operations if the internet goes down?

A: Nothing stops. We design with an "Offline-First" Architecture. Your site supervisors, teachers, or logistics drivers can continue to enter data, upload photos (compressed locally), and manage tasks without a connection. The system acts like a "store & forward" engine, syncing everything automatically the moment connectivity returns .

Q: How secure is my data if you are hosting it?

A: We treat your data as a Single Source of Truth. We implement strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), meaning a Storekeeper sees a completely different dashboard than the CEO. Additionally, for sensitive sectors like Real Estate or Health, we employ digital vaults and audit logs to ensure every transaction and modification is tracked and irreversible.

PARTNERSHIP & IP

Q: If you build a Custom ERP for me, who owns the Intellectual Property (IP)?

A:

  • Custom Builds: You own the code and the IP upon final payment. It is your asset.

  • Venture Building: If we partner with you to build a startup product, IP ownership is defined in our partnership agreement (often a split based on equity or revenue share).

  • White-Label: LOAF GLOBAL retains the IP of the core engine, and you hold a perpetual license to use and monetize it under your brand.

Q: You have your own projects. Will you prioritize your own projects over mine?

A: No. In fact, our internal projects are why we are faster at building yours. Because we "eat our own food" by building internal ventures first, we have already solved the hard technical problems (like payments, maps, and sync logic) before we start your project. Your build benefits from the R&D we have already paid for.

Q: I am outside of Ghana. Can we still work together?

A: Absolutely. Our "Cloud Manufacturing" model is location-agnostic. We currently build systems designed for the broader African market and have specific modules (like the "Diaspora Trust Engine" in Property Pulse) designed specifically to bridge the gap between local operations and international stakeholders .
